Interpretation and Definitions
The words in which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural.

- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Phone number
- Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
- Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services
The Company allows You to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-party Social Media Services:
If You decide to register through or otherwise grant us access to a Third-Party Social Media Service, We may collect Personal data that is already associated with Your Third-Party Social Media Service’s account, such as Your name, Your email address, Your activities, or Your contact list associated with that account.
Services We Offer
Privatyze is providing the following services to its users.
- Data Breaches: using public resources such as haveibeenpwned.com and other sources that find and interact with data on the dark web. Privatyze enables users to see if their data has been found on the dark web as a result of being involved in a data breach.
- Data Removal & Opt-out Requests: Privatyze enables its users to take ownership of their data by providing them with a quick and easy way to request that their personal data be deleted permanently by third parties. To provide this service in compliance with the data privacy laws, Privatyze leverages a Gmail API provided by Google. This enables users to send data-removal requests via to multiple parties simultaneously.
Email API Data Collection & Authorization for [Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo]
Purpose: Privatyze empowers users to take ownership and control over their data and stay ahead of data breaches by reducing their digital footprint online. By granting Privatyze permission to the user’s Gmail account using the ‘Gmail API’ provided by Google, users will be able to submit data removal and opt-out requests to many companies that hold and use their data. As a privacy-preserving company, Privatyze values the data privacy of its users and will only use the “Gmail API” for the purpose of assisting the user to reclaim their data privacy. Below are the types of data we will need access to in order to provide the data removal service for our users.
Type of data we collect to provide you with this service:
- The subject line of the emails
- Sender’s email address
- Date of the first email message received from the company
- Date of the last email received from the company with the service
- Existence of attachments to the email message (we do not access the attachments themselves. We will only know whether a file was attached or not)
- The first line of the email message is presented in your inbox, which means a snippet of the email message as shown on the main page of your inbox.
Email API Data Collection Disclaimer [Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo]
We use your data to provide you with the data removal services and we don’t process or collect the content of any email message in your inbox during this process. However, to make the deletion request process more comfortable, you can view the responses and reply to the companies directly from Privatyze’s platform. We will access and reflect the relevant email thread in real-time. We don’t collect any of these email messages, your email messages remain in your own inbox. In some cases, we may use the specific interactions between you and the companies with regard to your deletion requests (in a redacted form without any personal data) to train our personal data assistant, so we can provide you with better-suggested answers. This will help you complete your deletion requests faster.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
- Web Beacons. Certain sections of our Service and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of a certain section and verifying system and server integrity).

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
